Journey to America II

Day 2 – Baltimore

Day 2 started relatively early in the morning, with Eric driving all the way north to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland which took us more than 5 hours. We arrived at about noon and had Mexican food for lunch. I would say that the  aquarium is not the most impressive ones, but nonetheless it’s still a pretty good experience – my first time watching dolphin show. There was also this 4D theatre which was pretty awesome as well. We spent the afternoon in the aquarium, and just before we left for Washington DC, I requested stopping by the famous John Hopkins Hospital, just for the sake of taking photos, since we are only a few blocks away.

After another 45 minutes drive or so, we arrived in Washington, District of Columbia, and checked into our hotel. Eric got a pretty good bargain, at USD100 per night at the Hilton Hotel, which otherwise cost more than USD2oo per night. After returning the car, we had fast food for late dinner and headed off to bed…
